Mobile Food Vending has an important public safety component. Also, many food carts park on public grounds. As a result, governmental food safety officials to city public works officials have a strong interest in managing this industry.
This section will attempt to get its arms around these issues. This will include the types of rules and regulations that ‘generally face mobile food vendors. While it is nearly impossible to a resource for every municipality that chooses to oversee food carts, we will continually add to a registry in order to provide a bona fide resource.
